What is ZYKAY?

ZYKAY is a privacy-preserving verification service that lets partners check required identity attributes (for example adult status) without collecting full personal identity documents.

Is verification free?

Yes. Verification is free for end users.

Do I need a browser wallet?

No. The current flow does not require MetaMask or any browser wallet extension.

Do I need to upload a PDF?

No in the standard current flow. Verification is handled through the ZYKAY app and on-device proof generation.

Why do I see a QR code?

On desktop, the QR code opens the verification session in the ZYKAY app on your phone.

What happens on mobile?

You are usually redirected directly to the app with a deep link.

Why is first verification slower?

The first run may require additional identity checks and device setup. Later verifications are generally faster.

Device and account

What is my identifier on ZYKAY?

Your verification profile is linked to your device key.

What if I change phone?

You may need to run verification again on the new phone.

Privacy

What data do partners receive?

Only verification outcomes/attributes requested by the partner (for example isAdult).

Does ZYKAY store my raw identity document?

No. The system is designed to avoid storing raw personal identity documents in the standard flow.
